OF COUNSEL ATTORNEY – DEBT DEFENSE

Compensation: $100-150 per hour

About the Opportunity
Ginsburg Law Group, P.C., a multi-state consumer protection law firm, is seeking an experienced Of Counsel Attorney to assist with its growing debt defense practice.
We are seeking of counsel attorneys in PA, NJ, MD, TN, TX, FL, AZ, CA and WY.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking flexible, part-time work with an established law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, consumer debt defense, and settlement negotiations, and be comfortable handling matters independently with support from our legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Court Appearances: Represent clients at hearings, conferences, motions, and other court proceedings, including virtual and in-person appearances as needed.
- Pleading Review: Review complaints, answers, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents for accuracy, legal sufficiency, and strategic considerations.
- Settlement Negotiations: Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and creditors to achieve favorable resolutions for clients.
- Case Strategy: Provide litigation guidance and recommendations to the firm’s debt defense team.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate with attorneys and support staff regarding case developments, deadlines, and next steps.
Qualifications
- Active law license in good standing in the applicable jurisdiction
- Experience in civil litigation; consumer debt defense or creditors’ rights litigation experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with court procedures, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and provide timely case updates.
- Professional liability insurance, or willingness to satisfy the firm’s coverage requirements.
The position offers a flexible schedule, ongoing case assignments, administrative support, and the opportunity to work with a consumer-focused litigation team.
