Get the Calls to Stop
Getting robocalls or spam texts? Here’s what happens next.
A simple, step-by-step overview so you know what to expect.
Step 1: Quick intake (5–10 minutes)
We’ll have you answer a few questions to understand the situation:
- What number they’re calling/texting
- What company/brand name shows up (if any)
- How often it’s happening and when it started
- Whether you ever gave consent (and how)
- Whether you asked them to stop (and what happened after)
Goal: confirm whether this looks like a potential TCPA issue and what evidence we should review.

Step 2: You send us the key proof (usually same day)
We’ll ask for screenshots and a few details (see checklist below).
If you don’t have everything, send what you do have.
If you don’t have everything, send what you do have.
Goal: quickly verify frequency, content, and whether the messages look automated/marketing.
Upload in your form above, or email us your evidence.
Step 3: Attorney review + issue spotting
We look for common TCPA triggers, such as:
- Repeated calls/texts using an automated system or prerecorded voice
- Marketing texts/calls without proper consent
- Contact after you opted out (e.g., you replied STOP)
- Calls/texts to a number on the Do Not Call Registry (in some situations)
- Wrong-number calls/texts after you told them it’s the wrong number
Goal: identify the strongest legal theories and what we’d need to prove.
Step 4: Strategy call (next steps + options)
We’ll explain, in plain English:
- What we think is happening
- What your options are
- What we recommend doing next
- What we need from you (if anything)
Goal: you leave the call knowing the plan and what to do (and not do) next.
Step 5: Evidence preservation (simple but important)
If it looks viable, we’ll guide you on preserving evidence, like:
- Keeping texts intact (don’t delete the thread)
- Saving voicemails
- Capturing call logs regularly
- Not engaging beyond opt-out language, if applicable
Goal: protect the proof before it disappears.
Step 6: We take action (demand, negotiation, or lawsuit evaluation)
Depending on the facts, we may:
- Contact the company/marketer
- Evaluate filing a lawsuit if appropriate
- Handle communications so you’re not stuck going back and forth
Goal: stop the conduct and pursue the best path forward.
Step 7: Resolution + next-step protection
If resolved, we’ll flag related issues we often see (when relevant), like:
- Identity theft / lead list issues
- Debt collection overlap (FDCPA)
- Credit reporting concerns (FCRA)
Goal: reduce repeat harassment from the same ecosystem of callers.

TCPA Doc-Ready Checklist (What to Gather)
The more you can share, the faster we can evaluate your situation. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything.
A) Screenshots (most important)
- Screenshots of text message threads (include the phone number and timestamps)
- Screenshots of call logs showing frequency (dates/times)
- Screenshots of voicemail transcriptions (if available)
B) Details about the caller/texter
- Phone number(s) used
- Company/brand name shown in the message or caller ID
- Links included in texts (screenshots are fine)
- Any email addresses or websites referenced
C) The content (what they’re saying)
- Are they selling something? Collecting a debt? Offering a “program”?
- Any repeated scripts or identical messages
- Any mention of “consent,” “terms,” or “you opted in”
D) Consent + opt-out evidence (critical)
- Did you ever give them your number? If yes, how (website form, checkout, lead form, prior business relationship)?
- Any screenshots showing you replied STOP (or asked them to stop)
- If you have it: confirmation texts like “You have been unsubscribed”
E) Do Not Call (if applicable)
- Whether your number is on the National Do Not Call Registry
- Approximate date you registered (if you remember)
F) Your timeline (even rough is fine)
- When it started
- How many calls/texts per day or week (estimate is okay)
- Whether it’s ongoing right now
If you’re not sure what’s relevant, send it anyway — we’ll sort it.
